Found a very interesting article at Ecoistabode.com about the existing area of garbage floating in the Pacific Ocean. It is called the "plastic vortex" and is a real problem to marine life. You may never have heard of it, but it estimated to be at least the size of the state of Texas!

USA beats Spain 2-0 at Confederations Cup
Wow how about that USA soccer team today?!?!?!! Wonderful win over the #1 ranked team in the world Spain 2-0 at the Confederations Cup in South Africa. Goals from Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey.
